As an entrepreneur for the last 9 years while owning my own business, I have discovered the real learning takes place when the hands-on experience begins. My intent is to be in harmony with each client and his or her needs. I listen to the client, individualize their sessions and provide a supportive environment to nurture their health and healing. The majority of my clientele have pain syndromes (i.e. sciatica,TMJ,carpal tunnel, tendonitis, etc.),chronic pain, or injuries. They are athletes and/or do some kind of repetitive motion during their daily lives.
I specialize in Neuromuscular/Myofascial/Trigger Point Therapy and Muscle Release Technique/Rehabilitative Techniques. I have done extensive training in Michigan and Ohio and currently reside in Austin,TX. I like to incorporate stretching and movement into my work. I also think it is important to blend the deep tissue work with Swedish massage for an overall soothing and relaxing experience and for stress reduction. I enjoy being part of the healing arts and appreciate all my clients who have allowed me to be part of their journey towards healing and wellness. I look forward to continuing on this path.

I love to run. The longer the run, the more I love it. Also, the more difficult the terrain, the more it suits me. Variety is my thing. I have run 44 marathons, 24 100milers, and another 50+ long distance races in every odd distance from the 50km to the 135 mile Badwater run across Death Valley during a 130 degree day. I have directed a fair share of trail races and been involved with the creation and direction of the Austin Marathon and its evolution for the 1st 15 years. My love is for the mountain races but I like to dabble in all the others as well, having run and raced in everything from the Mile to the 48 Hour track race. Yes, it is the variety that I like. I'm usually up for anything off beat or insane.
